The project activities are organized in five work packages, as per original project proposal:

• Work package 1 - Creation of a network of national FGR inventories
• Work package 2 - Development of minimum requirements and information standards for dynamic gene conservation units
• Work package 3 - Creation of the information infrastructure
• Work package 4 - Building the information system
• Work package 5 - Coordination
